The Mainframe — quake

The Mainframe is the third and final level of the Unit OPERATION: Firewall in the new Call of the Machine campaign for the 2023 Quake II Remaster.

This is the only level in Call of the Machine where turrets are featured, as the Player crosses hazardous blue lasers.

The System Administrator looks and behaves very much like (spoiler alert).

The Janitor is essentially a (spoiler alert), but.... rather smaller.

#1) After disabling the mainframe, get back to the room with the transmitter device for the Data CD (quickest way is to make your way back to the top of the mainframe room and take the ladder that was previously blocked by red lasers). Once you're there, head down the hall to the room across from it with a computer red panel and a electrical circuit that spans the entire upper wall (also was once blocked by red lasers). Shoot the 3 jumper switches to open the wall on the other side of the large gap, revealing a Double Damage.
#2) Near the beginning of the level, there is a room with a blue laser you must jump over to traverse safely. There's a red door to your left which is locked at first, but it becomes accessible after disabling the mainframe. Inside this room is an Adrenaline, however that is not the true secret; approach the Strogg Insignia-covered panel on the lower wall in front of you to unlock a literal mini-boss. Landing your first hit on him will register the secret. Maybe that Disruptor you picked up before would be effective!
