Biography

Manual biography

Raised on the mean streets of a post-apocalyptic city, Stripe avoided crime and drugs by being tougher than the gangs and pushers.

Profile

Stripe is a tough, smart urban soldier. His experience in the street has prepared him for life in the Arenas. His training in the Marines and then as a mercenary for various armies ranging several continents on Earth makes him one of the harder foes to overcome.[1]

Prima Guide biography

When you come from the streets, staying away from the gangabngers and the drug pushers isn't easy. Stripe did some hard time anyway, but he did it to protect his brother, who wasn't smart enough or tough enough to survive in the joint. It didn't help, however, and Stripe's brother ended up six feet under. They discovered that Stripe was covering for his brother and offered him a deal—stay in prison or go fight. Stripe chose to fight and wound up in the Arena Eternal.

While Stripe is an excellent warrior, he is more concerned with his own preservation than scoring frags. This may be a large part of the reason he favors the BFG, the Quad, and the battle suit, since these items allow him to either clear the area quickly (which prevents retaliation) or keep him safe. Stripe is confident but not too cocky when he speaks.
