Private Nicholson is a character featured in Quake IV. He is a member of Raven Squad in the Space Marine Corps and participates in the Second Invasion of Stroggos.

Biography

Second Invasion of Stroggos

While clearing out the landing zone for the USS Hannibal, a convoy truck with Nicholson, Private First Class Houchard and Private Hummer is overturned after getting ambushed by a nearby bunker complex. Under heavy fire, Houchard and Hummer take cover behind the truck while Nicholson is severely injured on the ground behind a few boxes. When Corporal Kane makes his way towards the truck while on his way to the landing zone, the USS Hannibal arrives overhead and destroys the bunker complex, after which Houchard thanks the USS Hannibal and informs them about Nicholson's state. After receiving the news a Medic will be dispatched, Hummer decides to stay with Nicholson while Houchard and Kane make their way towards the USS Hannibal. However, if Kane goes to the Hannibal but returns to the wrecked truck before entering the Hannibal, Nicholson will no longer be moving nor have his tag appear, implying he bled out shortly after being encountered. Moreover, if Kane returns to the wrecked truck after leaving the Hannibal but before going to the convoy trucks, a body bag will be present where Nicholson was laying.
